Liggy set up the business way back in 2007 with the aim of becoming Scotland’s leading cake business. Following an initial successful 2 years in Edinburgh she opened the Bearsden branch with the aim of growing the business into the West of Scotland whilst retaining the quality and service the customers have come to expect. Now Liggy is more likely to be found behind her laptop than in the bakery however she does love teaching our ever popular cake decorating classes and meeting our beautiful brides to be to chat all things wedding!

What We Offer:
The Cake Lounge Edinburgh is a small family run business creating bespoke cakes and cupcakes. We do not mass produce cakes therefore, don’t require mixes. We take fresh quality ingredients add a spoonful of experience, mix in some tender love and care and wrap it all up with a bow. My love for cakes started from a young age. Fond memories of licking the wooden spoon while learning to make butterfly cupcakes, Overfilling the mixing bowl with clouds of icing sugar and watching the cakes dome through the glass of the oven door.
