This is one of the 2 finest curated shops in Edinburgh. It’s perhaps not what you’d expect from a shop that carries these illustrious designers, as it’s far less stuffy than most boutique shops. Yes, it has an incredibly well selected offering, taking the cream of many designers seasonal collections, but it’s mixed and displayed in a very informal and friendly style.

This is the only truely high-end fashion shop in Scotland and what a shop it is. The atmosphere is decidedly relaxed, you are left to browse at your own pace but should you need help, the owner is to hand. Even though she has been running this shop successfully since the 1970’s she is still full of excitment and enthusiasm for her stock.
Friendly, informative and efficient staff. Beautiful pieces helpfully discussed. Every time I’m in Edinburgh (I live in Bristol, so it’s not as often as I’d like) I HAVE to visit. I get a great welcome as a long lost friend; it’s difficult not to buy something!

This shop was so amazing! They sold a range, from designer scarves to reasonably priced new clothing, and great vintage in the back. I ended up finding a couple things I really liked in the bargain bin, so they were each only 5 pounds. The women working the shop were incredibly nice. If I come back to Edinburgh I’m definitely coming back here.

Godiva is a rather gorgeous boutique selling independent design, reworked vintage and second hand finds. You’ll find dresses by Rowan Joy and other local talent in the front section of the shop, as well as jewellery, scarves and other accessories.
