Easy to organise, reliable communication. Conrad has great knowledge and is able to attend to multiple dogs/people in the same session so that everyone is satisfied. I got so much out of the group sessions and combined with a 121 session it was a perfect mixture of broad scope of topics covered and individual attention.

Following good recommendations we decided to sign up for classes with Tail Academy. It was the best decision we could possibly make. Conrad and his team set us on the right track with Monty’s training and now we have such a well behaved dog.

We signed up for Conrad’s puppy training class and for Level 2 training and recall. Conrad is really kind and patient trainer who loves animals. The puppy classes were a great intro into the basics of understanding and training a pup.

Excellent communications via email and in-person. Very positive approach and considerate of both pets and owners. Doing this training has helped us build a stronger relation with our dog and we feel more knowledgable in what to do and why we’re doing it.
My puppy Otis and I really enjoyed our puppy classes. Some helpful tips with getting the basics down but most of all it has been great in building his confidence with new people and of course other puppies! He was quite shy and you can see a huge difference in him 4 weeks on.
As complete newbie dog owners we absolutely loved getting an insight into what we could achieve. I’ve now started whistle training with our puppy Meg, it’s going well but if I learned anything from our sessions with the Dogs Trust training then I’d say it is to continue with the training so your dog has a chance to get it right. Brilliant class, totally recommend.

Mat gave a very thorough analysis of our dogs problem . This was useful to support interventions at many levels, biological, emotional, and behavioural aimed at improving his confidence with other dogs. Written report, vet contact included plus video follow up to make sure I’m doing it right! Feeling more confident now that I can work to improve my dogs life.

We cannot thank Mat enough for his help with our dog. We didn’t know where to start with some of the issues we were having. He’s not like the usual dog people – we have tried various trainers and behaviourists but Mat clearly understands why your dog/animal
