What We Offer:

We’re happy to be serving this new brand of pasta from Gragnano napoli, Italy. Our belief is pasta should always be a pleasure and enjoyed as part of quality time shared with others. Details make the difference. We source our seafood from a local Scottish suppliers to create a nice blend of flavor and texture with our dishes. A twist between local Scottish and Traditional Italian cucina.Delicious balanced extra virgin olive oil is used in all of our dishes and can be tasted alongside our fine artisan sourdough breads. From Valle Di Comino, Atina this oil is one of the finest around.

SPECIALITY:

Tomato, chili & fresh herbs with crostini to mop up the sauce. Whole Grilled Sardines, char-grilled with dressed salad leaves & balsamic reduction

We had a great time at Osteria Dei Sapori. Lovely Italian restaurant with authentic Italian food. The staff were very friendly, the food choice plentiful and the wine was excellent.
First time in restaurant on 28/08/21, passed a few times. Went with daughter, as we like going out for meals. Really enjoyed food, freshly prepared. Had 3 course’s and a bottle of wine.
Lovely space, decorated in a very “chic” way, child friendly as well. Quality of the food is astounding, and for a reasonable price as well! We didn’t try any meat or fish courses, but both the pasta dishes we ordered were exquisite.

What We Offer:

The name is from the latin and it means “by land and sea”. This name has been chosen to reflect the menu based on “land” and “sea” dishes. It is not the classic italian place serving pizza and pasta, but the idea is to introduce to Edinburgh other traditional Italian dishes. The cuisine is much more sofisticated and all the food on the menu is homemade from the bread, to the pasta, right through to the ice cream. Some of the products come straight from Italy, but most of them are local. The menu is seasonal, so it will change 4 times a year.

SPECIALITY:

Rolled chicken breast stuffed with asparagus & scamorza, wrapped in parma ham. Cooked in a creamy chicken sauce. Sirloin steak cooked with green peppers, brandy, demi glace and a touch of cream

Fantastic food, friendly staff and very welcoming. The chef is from Sicily and the owners are from Tuscany….a great combination. Their seafood is amazing; the house wine is fabulous and the strawberry Tiramisu is out of this world.
What a find! At the footings of the castle lies the terrace and a simple but hugely effective restaurant. The hostess is wonderful quiet calm welcoming and efficient.
The best Italian food ever and the staff were really nice would definitely recommend going here if you had the chance.

Amazing 7 course tasting menu for a special birthday. There are choices between 2 options for most courses. They were all absolutely delicious and slightly different but not crazy.
Best food experience so far in Scotland. Giovanni and his wife truly managed to offer a 5 or 7 courses menu experience that is a delight to your senses and a celebration of Italian cuisine revisited in a modern key.
Had the 5 course meal and it was delicious. Food timing was thoughtful, waiters knowledgeable and wine was tasty (we just chose our own glasses). The space is very intimate, located on the lower ground floor tucked by the river. They kept the door open for ventilation. Will definitely return.
