My experience with Physis is been simply life changing. Chronic pain entirely took over my life, impeding me to carry on with my daily activities and at some point even to walk.
I was in so much pain with a trapped nerve in my neck and had very reduced mobility. Graham was empathetic and sensitive and within a few sessions things were very much improved. I was given exercises to follow along with weekly sessions – and it was always my choice to come back, there was no pressure. After some weeks I felt it was so improved that I didn’t need to see Graham any longer
The level of care and professionalism from everyone at Physis is second to none. I do a lot of endurance sport and am occasionally injured or have a niggle.

Niall was recommended by my daughter after I had been suffering severe hip pain for over a year due to a full thickness tear of the tendon surrounding the hip. After only two/ three treatments consisting of deep massage, stretching, manipulation, excercises & tiny needles, I noticed a huge difference to my walking & hip joint which became pain free after so long. It has made such a difference to my life being able to move more freely. Niall delivers a highly professional & skilled service in a safe environment.

After 2 appointments with Niall the IMS treatment made a huge improvement and I had more flexibility than ever before. Not bad for someone who hates needles! I have attended Balanced Edinburgh for physiotherapy with Leslie on a number of occasions and have found communication, treatment and prescribed exercise to be excellent. Recently I attended with hip/leg pain and in addition to physiotherapy, had my first experience of therapeutic massage which was with Jonas.
Jonas is a fantastic massage therapist! Not only attentive and kind, he is very thorough and ensures to target my problem areas so I leave feeling significant relief from my back pain. Highly recommend
I’ve received 5 sessions of remedial massage and am really feeling great benefits. As I work in a very physical occupation I’m forever presenting with new aches and strains as well as managing long term gripes. In Balanced, I have found a really terrific service.
