My name is Joe Carter and I am an Edinburgh-based BAFTA-nominated film-maker living with my partner and my little girl in the people’s republic of Leith! I am a camera geek and cinephile so love having the opportunity to film great footage for wedding days as well as dramatic short films that I shoot between weddings. I have been making films for about 15 years and I’m ninja-like in my ability to film in a documentary style without being spotted!

Both myself and Donal are absolutely delighted with our wedding video shot by Joe. Our wedding day at the Cow Shed was wet and snowy but despite this Joe did a fantastic job capturing our day with our friends and family! Joe blended in so well with the wedding guests and put everyone at ease.

Our wedding at Dundas Castle was captured by Joe and we are over the moon with the result. The highlights reel was perfection and the video itself is something we will cherish forever. Our wedding day was rainy in parts however Joe still went out of his way to make sure he got the best shots

What an experience booked Charles to catch the magical moment of me proposing to my partner today and he was incredible I could not have asked for anyone better. I reached out to Charles to do a photo shoot for my brand at the famous Bow Bar in Edinburgh. From the moment I emailed him, he responded quickly, professionally and more importantly very enthusiastically.
